We have a lot of exciting things planned for our school and our community. We are having our students get involved so that they learn the importance of helping others as well as providing a way to help some of our own families.

12/15 Favorite Team Day – Cleaning Supplies
12/20 Ugly Holiday Sweater Day or Fun Holiday Socks Day – Napkins
12/21 80’s or Neon Day – Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
12/22 Red and White Day – Toilet Paper
Krispy Kreme Day – On 12/9 and 12/16 we will have a Krispy Kreme Fundraiser Day. Donuts will be sold at the end of the day. Stations will be set up in 5 locations in the cafeteria. We will dismiss early, by grade, and students will go right to their busses after they purchase their donuts. Donuts will be $1 and all money will be donated.
Pop Tops – We will continue collecting Pop-Tops in the cafeteria. All the Pop-Tops that we collect will be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House when we Stuff the Bus. Students can bring in pop-tops from home as well. We will continue to remind them during lunch.
Winter Ball – We will have a Semi-Formal Dance on Friday, 12/9, from 6:30-8:30pm. This is not a formal but is a dress up dance. There will be some decorations and food will be sold in the cafeteria. The cost of the dance $7. $5 will be for the dance and $2 will be donated.
Candy Cane Grams – Starting on 12/14 and continuing through 12/18 during all 3 lunches, we will be selling Candy Cane Grams for a dollar. They will include a candy cane and a message. Students will be able to purchase one for $1 to send to their friends. They will be delivered during homeroom on 12/22. This is an AVID fundraiser.
Spirit Week – We will be collecting items during each day of Spirit Week to donate to the Ronald McDonald House. We will run it as a grade competition. Each day the students come in with their items they will place it in their grade bin. Spirit week will run from 12/14-12/22. On 12/22 we will Stuff a Bus with all of the items we have collected and donate it to the Ronald McDonald House.
Light the Night – This event will take place on 12/21 from 6-8 pm. We will have a mini parade through the neighborhood that the school is in. Our neighbors will be given flyers about what we are collecting and as we come through their neighborhood the kids will collect items from the community and give the families candy canes with thank you notes on them.
Stuff the Bus – On Tuesday, December 22nd the entire school will help Stuff the Bus by placing all of the items that we have collected on the bus. More details will be provided as it gets closer.
