Brandywine School District's Race to the Top Plan becomes District Success Plan
The original Brandywine School District "Race to the Top" Plan was submitted and approved by the Delaware Department of Education in August 2010. During the course of the 2010.11 school year, the Delaware Department of Education worked with all districts across the state in revising and re-writing their "Race to the Top" plans, allowing greater detail and additional objectives to be added based on the needs of the District. The resulting plan and document are referred to as the District Success Plan, a guiding document for the work of the District from 2010 -2014. The form and purpose of the District Success Plan mirrors that of the District's former guiding documents known as the District Strategic Plan.
The first document listed below is the original "Race to the Top" Plan submitted and approved by the Delaware Department of Education in August 2010. The second document is the revised plan, now referred to as the District Success Plan 2010-2014. The DDoE gave final approval to Brandywine's District Success Plan 2010-2014 on June 13, 2011.
